01Acceptance of these terms
By creating a Qisma account or using the app, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Qisma.
02What Qisma is — and isn't
Qisma helps you scan receipts, split bills within a group, track who owes what, and self-organize a rotating savings circle (جمعية) with people you trust.
Qisma does not process payments. We never move, hold, or guarantee anyone's money. Every settlement — cash, bank transfer, wallet app — happens directly between you and the people you split with. Qisma only keeps the record.
03Your account
You need to sign in with a real email or OAuth identity, and keep that access secure — you're responsible for activity under your account.
One account per person. Don't create accounts to evade the free-tier limit or impersonate someone else.
You can delete your account at any time from your profile, or by contacting us.
04Qisma Pro subscription
Every account gets 3 bills per month free. Qisma Pro removes that limit, billed Monthly, Yearly, or as a one-time Lifetime purchase, through Apple’s App Store or Google Play Billing, depending on where you installed Qisma.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel anytime — on iPhone or iPad in Settings › your name › Subscriptions, and on Android from the Play Store or Qisma’s in-app subscription management — and you’ll keep access until the current period ends.
Refunds are handled by the store you bought through — Apple’s or Google Play’s refund policy — not by Qisma directly.
If we change subscription pricing, we'll give existing subscribers notice before it applies to their next renewal.
05Your content & conduct
You're responsible for the accuracy of the bills, splits, and circle entries you create — Qisma reads receipts automatically but you should check the result before confirming. Don't use Qisma to harass anyone, commit fraud, or do anything illegal.
06Savings circles — an important note
Qisma is a coordination tool, not a guarantee.A savings circle runs on trust between its members. Qisma tracks turns, contributions, and self-reported payments, but does not verify, insure, or enforce that any member actually pays their share. Only join a circle with people you trust.
07No warranty
Qisma is provided "as is." Receipt scanning can misread a blurry or faded print — always confirm the result. We don't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted or error-free.
08Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Qisma isn't liable for money disputes between users, or for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us, if anything, in the 12 months before the claim.
09Suspension & termination
We may suspend or close an account that violates these terms. You can stop using Qisma and delete your account at any time.
10Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Qisma is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
11Changes to these terms
If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page and let you know inside the app.
